Real Conversations for Real Change
WOMANHOOD is an opportunity for curious and compassionate women to come together monthly in-person to forge new friendships and discuss topics that are relevant and engaging. Members share and listen actively, finding themselves growing in connecting with the wisdom of the group and themselves....
ultimately creating lasting change in their lives.
This is an experiential and somatically based series designed to build community and connection between the group members. In order to create a sacred space for authentic conversation and embodiment practices, drop-ins are not allowed.
We Thrive in Connection
Why Now?
Research shows that women thrive in connection and right now we are lonelier and more isolated than ever. WOMANHOOD is a call to action to come together in-person to create connection and intentional impact. We will co-create experiences that are powerful, playful, and ultimately, transformative.
"If I had to name the most important discovery of my life, it would be the portable community of talking circles; groups that gather with all five senses, and allow for consciousness to change."
― Gloria Steinem, My Life on the Road
Compelling Conversations
What are the monthly topics?
Each month, members will take a deep dive into a different topic. We explore how the theme impacts us personally and societally, in both healthy and toxic ways. The themes will build upon the previous month’s discussion, ultimately inspiring WOMANHOOD members to discover ways to advocate for sustainable change in their bodies, lives and their communities.
Below were the topics for the first year members in past years.

Connect
Cultivate and create a safe and sacred group by establishing foundational principles to learn about, and connect with, one another.

Body
Concentrate on healing through connecting emotions to sensations, we will discuss what embodiment is, the objective/subjective nature of being a body, the complexity of body image and how memory lives in the body.

Expectations
Investigate the multiple roles of womanhood, perfectionism, alignment and integrity and explore how expectations impact our well-being.

Family
Discuss the power of family conditioning, learn how to break unhealthy patterns and how to value the role of the inner child.

Food
Unpack how women learn about feeding themselves and how food relates to pleasure, indulgence, control, numbing, and fear.

Friendship
Understand the scientifically proven importance of connection for women, the difference between “fitting in” and "belonging" and learn ways to cultivate healthy friendships.

Attachments
Understand the birthplace of coping mechanisms and explore them through the lens of attachment. Honestly explore patterns and stories that are no longer serving you.

Technology
Explore how technology exists in your life and its impact on your well-being and on our society at large.

Sex
Discuss the arc of a woman’s sexual life, the impact of power dynamics, sexuality vs. sensuality, and ways to incorporate pleasure and desire into your life.

Vision
Experience the power of setting clear intentions and identify specific ways to create change on micro and macro levels. We will collaborate on ways to hold each other accountable moving forward.
Womanhood Members
Is this for you?
We are seeking women who want to make meaningful connections, discuss issues that are timely, and challenge themselves with curiosity and compassion. We understand it takes some courage to share openly in a group setting. This experience will help you build that courage.
If you are interested in personal growth and making an impact - and you would like support and accountability - WOMANHOOD is for you.
* Although therapeutic in nature, this is not group therapy. If you are struggling with mental health issues, or have a significant trauma background, we encourage you to seek support through other services.
